Intro This manual is incomplete, sorry. When complete, it will document features and changes specific to my custom x0xb0x firmware. This manual is supplemental to the official x0xb0x user manual[1], which you should first read in its entirety. [1] http://www.ladyada.net/make/x0xb0x/manual/index.html 2. Features Pattern Copy / Save-As As of meow14, my firmware supports the copying of patterns and the ability to save a pattern in a different location in PATTERN EDIT mode. To copy a pattern, switch the x0xb0x to PATTERN EDIT mode. Select the bank with the bank knob, select the pattern with the numkey buttons (1-8). Hit the DONE key, the DONE LED will blink. You may now select the bank and location, as before, to save the pattern to. Press R/S to cancel the copy. To save an edited pattern to its current location from PATTERN EDIT mode, hit the DONE key. The DONE LED will blink. Hit the DONE key again to save. Hit R/S to cancel the save without destroying the edited pattern in the edit buffer. To save an edited pattern to a different location from PATTERN EDIT mode, hit the DONE key. The DONE LED will blink. Choose the bank and location, as above, to save to. Hit the DONE key to save the pattern. Hit R/S to cancel the save without destroying the edited pattern in the edit buffer. Default Pattern The official firmware defaults an empty pattern in PATTERN EDIT mode to zero steps long. As of meow18, my firmware defaults an empty pattern to 16 steps, all notes C2. This has no effect on the PATTERN PLAY modes. Misc. The meow firmware additionally has note LEDs enabled for both KEYBOARD and MIDI PLAY modes. It also has several bugs fixed, see the firmware changelog for details. 3. Support Please use the official x0xb0x forums, "Official Meow Firmware Thread"[1], or ask questions in IRC - server `irc.freenode.net`, channel `#x0xb0x`. Do not email me directly please.
