The FireFox Up Navigation Extension (or 'FireFox Up' for short, or just 'ffup') is a very simple extension that lets you easily navigate 'up' the URL hierarchy.
So, if you're currently browsing http://gl1tch.com/~lukewarm/software/ffup/, you can right-click, select Navigate Up URL, and you'll go 'up' a directory to http://gl1tch.com/~lukewarm/software/.
